Book with Salon XO Mal
I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2013 and soon after opened Salon XO Mal, where I provide customized services to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and I strive to work within every client’s budget so that dream hair is accessible to all. Over time, I realized that my salon is more than a business—it is my ministry. God gave me the hands to do hair, the mind to run a business, and the heart to pour love into every person who sits in my chair. He entrusted me with this space, which has become a place where healing, joy, tears, laughter, and transformation happen, extending far beyond the chair. As an extension specialist with certifications in multiple methods, I have spent years sourcing the highest-quality hair and cutting out the middleman so clients can achieve their dream look at any budget. One of my proudest achievements has been opening two Salon XO Mal locations in Baton Rouge and Zachary, as well as partnering with Erica to create Cypress Collective BR.

I love bridal styling, especially soft glam makeup and messy-yet-polished updos, and I always keep my favorite products on hand, including K18 AirWash dry shampoo and Kitoko or L’Oréal Professional Oil to protect and nourish hair. Clients often tell me that my best personal attributes are my loyalty and heart for others, which I bring into every service.
Outside the salon, my guilty pleasure song is “Autobiography” by Ashlee Simpson, and I rarely resist a Salted Caramel Toffee from Coffee Time. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, pups, and little boy—most often with donuts, coffee, and a trip to the park.
